- Metro to Close 4 Parking Lots on Jan. 20 (8:51am) Monday, January 5, 2009 @ 8:05AMWASHINGTON (AP) - Metro says it will close parking lots at four Metro stations on Inauguration Day. Officials say no public parking will be allowed at the Greenbelt and Morgan Boulevard stations in Maryland, the Van Dorn Street station in Virginia and the Minnesota Avenue station in D.C. Parking spaces at Minnesota Avenue will be reserved for Metro employees.
