Anyone ever received a ticket for passing a stopped school bus? What happened in your situation?

I forgot to ask this in a previous question, but I wanted to hear anyone's personal experience. Mine was an accident, as the bus was slowing down as I passed it and put out the sign at the last minute. Just curious to hear what happened to you and what state/country you live in also.

1. The fines are quite high. School Buses have flashing amber lights to warn of the impending stop. A judge will accept no excuse for your actions.
