metro north in connecticut?

okay so in a few weeks im off too college, CW Post- Long island university, and my boyfriend is off to central connecticut in new britain CT. I know that there is a ferry from port jefferson LI to bridgeport CT and there is a stop for the metro north in bridgeport too, but i was wondering if anyone knew if the ferry was close to the bus stop, and also if i take it up to the last stop in waterbury, is there a bus to new britain? thanks so much for all of your help... love conquers all <3
