How to get to the clothes Museum (museu do traje) in Lisbon?
I would like to know what is the best way to travel to the Museu do Traje in Lisbon by public transport, that is, the nearest bus/metro stop and also the best route to come either from Oriente train station or from Cais do Sodre train station. Can anybody help me?

- If you get out of the subway at Lumiar it's a 5 minutes walk EDIT:Well, I'm on the phone with the Guinness Book of Records right now...;o) I do it EVERYDAY in 5 minutes. EVERYDAY.
- I traveled many times around that area, back in my childhood years: The '5 minutes walk' between the Lumiar station and the Museum would set a new regional record (plus you would have to cross one of the busiest city entrances, the Padre Cruz Avenue). ;) You really don´t want to walk from this metro station to the Museum !! At least, as far as i can remember, the Avenue is complicated to cross by foot, but it can be changed by now, i don't know for sure (it's been a while since i traveled around that particular area). Swift Malone Loves Easter is right about the Lumiar station, though, but there are some things to add. The Museum is situated near an incredible narrow road, very old indeed. Here's what i think: 1) If you're coming from the Cais do Sodre Station (best option, in my opinion): Take the metro (green line) and exit in the Baixa-Chiado station; then change to the blue line, up north (to Amadora Este) and exit in the Colegio Militar\Luz station. Then cross the road towards the Stadium of Light direction and take the Carris number 3 bus (public transport - Yellow buses), up north direction again. This bus goes directly to the Museum, then exit in the Church of Lumiar station (i think it is the nearest), it is around 20 minutes voyage or something, depends on transit mess (sigh). Then walk a few meters to the museum. 2) Oriente station: Take the Carris number 750 bus and exit in the Colombo shopping center\Stadium of Light Station and pick the 3 bus upnorth (then you do exactly how i explained before). Or, travel by metro (red line to the Alameda, then change to to green line towards Telheiras and exit in the Campo Grande station). There you either take the 50 bus and then the 3 bus (same order again) or take another metro ride to the Lumiar station and then pick the 3, 7, 36 or the 106 Carris bus (keep in mind that the nrº 3 bus is the nearest option to the museum). Or walk from the Lumiar metro station to the Museum, but i don't recommend that. ;) I don't visit the Museum for more than a decade for sure, shame on me... it is a must for the kids at school, they usually do several visits along their younger age. I must go there again, someday... :)
