Do school-age children (elementary, middle and high school) feel safe in their bus stops?

How early is "too early" for children to wake up & get ready for school? Do they feel safe from predators at their bus stops?

1. Yes!
2. Well if you want to be really sick, when I was a child I actually had a child predator that was a step father of one of the other children wait at our stop. We did not find out this until 5 years after they had moved to another district. Before they came though it was relativly safe, we had at least 6 kids that got on at our stop and it was inbetween a bunch of houses of our parents. Most parents of really small children like Pre-2nd used to stand with their children.
3. Parents need to look out for their children. The schools are not baby sitters. If you don't think your child is safe home school him or drive them to school.
4. 5:00am is to early to wake up. They do fell safe becuse they are allways running around acting like brats. There is usually a grown up at the bus stop.
