Can I request people notto smoke at bus stops?

If people want to smoke then thats their choice and should do so away from others? I do not have a sense of smell and I when people puff my way it makes me feel nauseated. Also my daughter does not like it either. Its is not healthy to breathe in smoke fromcigarettes.I feel nervous about asking people not to light up. I often have to sit down at the bus shelterand that is where people normally smoke. Buses are never on time and sometimes early. It is always best to be a few minutes early.I do not live inAmerica.

1. YOU CANT TELL PEOPLE WHAT TO DO MOVE A DISTANCE YOU DONT WANT TO END UPO ARGUEING WITH THEM KNOW WHEN THE BUS COMES ON TIME!
2. Just tell them your daughter doesn't like the smoke and if she's young tell them her age.

4. Since I smoke, I can tell you that it is an extremely touchy subject, when you are asked not to smoke outside. It all depends on how you ask someone. Generally if someone has an attitude about it, belligerence comes to mind. I keep right on smoking. However, to keep from having someone get angry with you, maybe you could try saying you are allergic, or you have a breathing disorder and could they move away. I always try to be courteous when I smoke in public, but try and remember that the person getting on that bus might not have the chance to feed their habit again for a while.
5. I f you were in America and told someone not to smoke you would get yur as%$ beat and your money stolen! smokers are on nicotine!! a deadly mind zapping drug!!
6. do you ask people not to drive cars? you have no right to do that because it is legal sorry
7. I hate when people smoke at bus stops, because you have to stand there waiting for the bus, and there's not much you can do when their smoke is drifting your way.
