Is there Bus Rapid Transit in Japan?

I was wondering if there is any Bus Rapid Transit in Japan that gets traffic treatment and bus lane? If not, do you know how do you call it in Japanese because I'm planning to translate New York City's first Bus Rapid Transit service. If possible, please tell me. Thank you.

1. Are you talking about high occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes? I've never noticed any in tokyo but other parts of japan may have them. but then again trains are more popular and they have their own lanes that stop traffic.
2. In Tokyo the busses share the road with all other vehicles. Technically you could call it バス専用線
