I want to find a bus service that runs from PA to New York City, me and a few friends want to take a day trip?

-We dont want to rent out the whole bus, we just want to go on a bus that has other passengers, that drop us off in the morning and picks us up at night. If you find any websites, let me know. Thank You!

  1. About your only bus service these days in Greyhound. You don't say where you are in PA, but they certainly run from Philly and Pittsburgh, and most larger towns. Try http://www.greyhound.com

  4. Greyhound Bus Lines. It's about an 8-hour trip each way from Pittsburgh to NYC, so I doubt you will be able to do a day trip. A round trip ticket was about $175 Check out Greyhound.com and you can get times, dates, schedules, etc.
  5. You don't say where in PA you are, but there are lots of options from eastern PA other than Greyhound. Martz has daily commuter service from Wilkes-Barre, Scranton, and several towns in the Poconos. Transbridge also offers daily commuter service from Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton. Peter Pan runs from Center City Philadelphia to New York several times a day. Also check your local daily paper. Many times tour companies have charter bus one-day trips into New York, that is cheaper than a normal bus. They usually advertise in the section of the paper with things to do.
  6. Chinatown bus service. It's only $20 roundtrip! $12 one-way! Have Fun!!!

Martz Trailways offers service between PA and Wall St in Downtown Manhattan. http://www.martztrailways.com/LocalFares.asp COACH USA and Greyhound also provide bus service between PA & NY. http://www.coachusa.com/ http://www.greyhound.com For Chinatown Bus, don't take Fung Wah because that Chinese bus got lots of dangerous report by F.A.I.
  8. You don't say where in PA, but if you want to make a day trip, I'd guess you are talking about Northeast/Pocono region. Martz runs shoppers specials for $25/pp. It leaves round 7AM for the city and leaves the Radio City area around 7PM
