What is the cheapest way to get from Detroit Metropolitan Airport to Wayne State University downtown?

I know there is the option of taking a cab, but that is rather expensive. I was looking for a bus service or shuttle service that might be available.

1. Take a bus from the airport that goes into Detroit. Look on the airport website for buses that leave from the Detriot airport into the city. And than take a public bus that goes to Wayne State. Wayne State is located downtown Detroit by the Detroit Institute of Arts and Science Center. Also if you're attending Wayne State University, so am I!! I went to my orientation yesterday and had fun in Detroit, you will like Wayne State.
2. i dont know if there are buses that will take you straight to detroit. Try using a smart bus. they have routes that will fit your needs. I am a wayne state grad class of 07'! have fun!!
3. That is an easy trip! Just take a SMART bus #125 Fort street from the airport into Downtown Detroit for only $1.50 +.25 cents for a transfer. Once in Downtown you can then transfer to serveral routes serving Wayne State U. Check out www.smartbus.org for specific details. Good Luck!
