- you can go by train or bus
- This is NOT the fastest but probably the cheapest route. The LAX Free Shuttle can take you to the Metro Rail Green Line which runs Eastbound from LAX to Norwalk. http://www.westworld.com/~elson/larail/green.html http://www.mta.net/riding_metro/metro_rail/green_line.htm Stopping at the 1-605/I-105 (Norwalk) Station. Upon arriving you will take two buses to get to Anaheim Amtrak Station Edison Field. Metro Bus 577 Express and Orange County Bus 50 Heres a schedlue of Bus 577 http://www.mta.net/images/577.pdf and a planned trip Starting at NORWALK STATION Ride Metro Bus 577 Express (CSULB/VA HOSPITAL) heading south From: NORWALK STA/BUS BAY 3 Lv: 08:35AM To: 7TH/CAMPUS(NE corner) Ar: 08:59AM Pay $1.25, Monthly Pass: $52.00, (EZ Pass accepted) Ride Orange County Bus 50( MALL OF ORANGE) heading east From: 7TH ST/CAMPUS RD(SW corner) Lv: 09:17AM To: KATELLA AV/HOWELL AV(SW corner) Ar: 10:14AM Pay $1.25, Monthly Pass: $45.00 Ending at EDISON FIELD Total cash fare = $2.50 Trip time is about 1 hour and 39 minutes. Trip distance is about 27.12 miles. OR you can go MTA's Tripmaster Advanced Trip Planner http://socaltransport.org/tm_pub_start.php And use- FROM: Norwalk Station or: Green Line TO: Edison Field or: Amtrak Total Travel time proly 2-3 hours approx Money spent less than 19 bucks. $3.85 CHACHING so to sum up LAX Free Shuttle -> Metro Rail Green Line stopping at Norwalk -> 577 Xpress Bus to 7TH/CAMPUS -> Orange County Bus 50 ending at Edison Field Good luck
- $19 may sound expensive, but from LAX to Anaheim in a car normally will take you 45 minutes with out traffic!! Imagine traffic and luggage. It will be worth spending the $19 There is an airporter bus that takes passengers from LAX to a Disney resort hotel. IF you must insist on the amtrak/lightrail, expect a 2 hour day. 45 minutes will take you from LAX to Norwalk on the green line. Then you have to get to the Amtrak station from Norwalk to the Anaheim station (take the Metrorail vs the Amtrak... cheaper). I also hope you are not traveling during a work week during peak time of 6 am-9 am, or 4 pm- 6 pm.
