Why People Think That Singapore Short of Transportation?

Singapore transportation is the first class.But some people don't appreaciate it. There are many transportation eg. Trains like SMRT and SBS Transit - East-West Line, North South Line, North East Line and the coming Circle Line in 2011. SMRT Buses and SBS Transit Buses everywhere in Singapore. First Class Taxis Services. All have but why people think that Singapore is still short of transportation?

1. This might be because everyone's in a rush to get things done, like doing from places to places. They get impatient waiting for the next bus to arrive, and hence complain that there isnt enough buses circulating. Trains doesnt reach out to some areas. ( : So the only mode of inexpensive transport is bus! (:
2. There is always a feeling that transport is not available when you need it.
3. to certain extent, I agree with calvin, i think generally is good, (esp mrt and cabs)...just that it is not there when we need it... also, bus services is kinda "monopolised" by 1/2 company, and they get to decide a. the route (which sometimes a bus is made to go round and round when it actually can cut down the time if its direct) b. the fare (yes yes yes, I know it is cheap already... ("x") c. the quality of drivers (i dun mean the service level, but more imptly,the safety consciousness...it seems there's an increase in accident rate, and when these accidents happen, the orgn just terminate the drivers, din it occur to them that they need to pay more attn in er.hm..training or even down to selection of driver criteria?)
