1. You need to get in contact with Bayline or Western National or whoever it is runs the bus companies now. I think the X80 stops at Dawlish, but I could be wrong. Your best bet is to get a train to Newton Abbot and then on to Plymouth. It's a lot quicker and simpler. This might help:http://www.stagecoachbus.com/devon/timetables.php?service=1993
2. There are frequent trains from Dawlish direct to Plymouth. A cheap day return is £5.40 and the journey time about 90 minutes. The view from the train is amazing!!
