Can I get directions to newbury street, using a bus service?

You don't have to be from this area, just how to figure out bus schedules. My freind wants to go to take a bus from Plymouth to Boston and then go to Newbury street in Boston. This is without using a car, or a taxi but any other public mode of transportation. If you at least try to help my freind out, It will be a very good deed and the 10 points wont even begin to express my gratitude. Can you please help my freind out?

1. I lived in Boston years ago, if I remember correctly you can take rail from Plymouth to South Station and then from there to Newbury St on the subway. Check with the MBTA on the net.
