I live in San Francisco and would like to get one. Are there any good breeders in the area?

- from a dogbreeder in Italy
- Try http://www.petfinder.com Research any breeder!!! Ask for referneces, ask to see the living conditions where the dogs are kept, ask to see papers, etc.
- AKC.org,,, get the address of the italian greyhound breed club.. contact them and they will provide you with many resources
- the races, those grayhouse who raced for the begining years of there lives need homes, there not always pets mostly one of a dozen dogs. find out if you have a gray hound rescue you might get a free dog that needs love
- Northern California Italian Greyhound Rescue http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/CA1100.html
- Even better than buying one from a breeder, get one from a rescue organization - There are TONS of Greyhounds retired from racing (or rejects) available! Great dogs - There is one that plays with my Aussie at the dog park I go to!
- In Rome are the bus station
- what you should do is try to look at breeders around you, it is not always the best thing to do to buy a dog online, you may be getting false info. this should be your last resort. you should also check shelters and ask them to notify you if and when they would get one. it is always best to save a dog from a pound, it is not their falt they dont have families(usually) and they should not have do die just because they are a lil ugly or wird looking
- I am not sure where u live but here in Florida the humane society always has several greyhounds retired from racing. Also there are numerous greyhound rescue organizations
