USA Bus Lines

Toronto, ON Canada to Buffalo, NY U.S.A, by greyhound bus?

I’m planning on trip from Toronto, ON Canada to Buffalo, NY U.S.A, and day later from Buffaol, NY U.S.A to Toronto, ON Canada I’m non-Canadian/American citizen/ permanent residence. However, I have U.S. Student visa. (My citizenship do not require Canadian visa.) My question is; how do they do security at the border (U.S. and Canada) when I take a greyhound bus? And how long usually take a immigration. Please give me answer ASAP. P.S. Please understand grammar mistake, English is not my native language. Thank you.

  1. Wouldn't GREYHOUND be able to tell you?
  2. Border Patrol will enter the bus and request passports of all passengers. Passports for countries other than Canada and US will need to have a valid visa for entry into the United States. If you have an F-1, you will have to show that you are still a student as F-1 generally expire upon graduation. I would bring a copy of your I-20 to show that F-1 still valid. If it is not, you will need to have a visitor's visa to enter the US. The length of time it takes at the border will depend upon the respective citizenship/visa requirements of the passengers
  3. You need to bring your passport with a US visa in it.
