Anybody ever took a greyhound bus trip?

Im going on greyhound for the first time in august! im going from new jersey to florida.I love road trips and thats why im taking the bus.i think the bus would be fun but what should i expect and can you get any sleep on the bus?

1. I took one from Portland, OR to Seattle. It was a 9 hour 'milk run'. I didn't think it was that bad at all. I slept, listened to my walkman, looked at scenery, and read a lot. Every 'milk stop' they let you off to pick up food and drinks since the stop is usually near a store. I've heard horror stories about lecherous men, crazy people, and worse, but it never happened to me. I had 2 seats to myself until the last leg, then I talked with a really nice woman who sat next to me. I guess she thought I was safe and was afraid of creepy people too.
2. ive taken greyhound a few times and i hated it both times. so im very negative, now i either fly or drive myself places because it tends to be just faster that way.
