I am looking for the cheapest way to travel to New York City from Toronto?

I am looking to take the bus, train or anything cheap, so far the cheapest I have found is greyhound for a little over $100 for both ways, does anyone know of any discount buslines that would be cheaper or anything like that? I keep hearing about the discount $1 bus ticket lines like megabus, but they never seem to be true, and end up being more than greyhound. Anyone know of anything? Thanks.

2. bus! try neon bus or mega bus, they have seat prices as low as $1 at times. I used them on my trip to nyc,
