How dangerous is to cross from Dallas to Monterrey, MX by Greyhound bus?

Flying is not an option. I'm a female and my friend would be waiting for me at the bus station in Monterrey. Greyhound website says the line I'm taking has no transfers.

1. Extremely. You will have to be on the lookout for bandits constantly, they are notorious in that area. And you will be lucky if they don't try to rob your bus. Then you have to worry about your driver. Greyhound Bus drivers are known for falling asleep at the wheel often and showing up to work drunk. If you do manage to make it to your destination safely I know for a fact that there will be someone waiting to take your innocence once you get off the bus. Another little known fact, some Greyhound Buses are actually prostitution rings, so choose wisely. Be careful and good luck, you will need it.
