Do i need an ESTA to travel from Canada to the U.S by greyhound?

I am a UK resident, and i shall be going on holiday to Vancouver Canada. During our time there i will be wanting to travel to Seattle Washington for 1 day by greyhound coach whilst on our trip. Do we need a ESTA for this??

1. Yes. UK citizens can use the ESTA system to enter the USA. Where you arrive from is irrelevant. EDIT. Re-reading your question I note that you said UK resident rather than UK citizen. It may be the case that you need a separate visa. What passport do you have ?
2. IIRC, the only people that doesn't require an ESTA/visa are Canadian citizens!
3. UK citizens don't need a visa to enter the US but you need to be clear more are you a citizen or resident and if so what is your citizenship
