How to get from NYC Greyhound station to the JFK airport?

I have never done this before, but I guess it should be very simple. I am planning my trip, and would like to know the costs, approximate time etc. I have international flight from JFK departing 6pm. Also, on my way back I am flying to Newark EWR airport, and I need to get to the Greyhound station from there, or to LaGuardia (if I can find a cheap fare to Newport News from there). Thank you.

  1. Go on the greyhound website and it will tell you where the locations are in NY...then, do a map search from/to the airport to the station! Hope this helps!
  2. Actually, depending on where the Greyhound Station is in NYC, and I'm assuming the Port Authority Bus Terminal on 42nd Street near Times Square this is relatively easy. For JFK airport: (By Subway) - Need to buy a Per Ride Metrocard. Take the E Train towards Queens Get off at Sutphin Blvd. The entire ride should be about 40 minutes. At Sutphin Blvd., take the JFK Air Train (Should be about 5 bucks). This train ride to the stations at JFK is about 10-12 minutes. For JFK Airport (By Bus): At the Port Authority Bus Terminal, I believe you can take a an Airport Shuttle bus to JFK. It costs I think about 30 bucks round trip and the ride should take about 45minutes to an hour.
