Best way to travel to Palani from guruvayoor?.Is there a private bus service?

We are visiting Guruvayoor and planning to visit Palani also .Checked the bus service from KSRTC but the timings doesn't suit us is there any other ideas?

1. You can travel by bus. There are many private and government under roadways bus are running.

HI RAMYA when u r out of ur state........pls check on other services, as buses in TN are very convenient. if i can suggest......go to guruvayoor ...overnight journey.....visit the Elephant Stud .....its really nice.........from there u can travel to Coimbatur....from ther get a bus to Palani...or u can take a bus to Madhuri and get down at a junction 12 klm from palani too as ppl travel over night in TN ( to avoid the day's HEAT ) its very very convenient. Maduri is very close to palani......on your way back ...either from palani or madhuri .....u get direct buses to mys and bangalore ......rather many buses. so ENJOY
3. Route Guruvayoor > Thrissur > Vadakkancherry > Nemara > Pollachi > Udumalpett > Palani Total distance may be below 170 km From Guruvayoor go to Thrissur. Distance 25km Frequent bus service are available. From Thrissur KSRTC bus stand, take bus to pollachi. distance approx 80km, Frequency may be every one hour a bus is available for pollachi. From Pollachi to Palani for every 15 minutes bus is available. distance approx 60km. Direct buses to palani are available from Guruvayoor and Thrissur.
