A man wants to invest P200,000 on two accounts; the regular savings account at 3.5% simple interest and a time deposit account at 8% simple interest. If he wants to double his money at the end of 10 yrs. how should he divide his money? 5. A publisher spends P5000 to prepare a booklet and make the plates for printing it. He also pays P500 for each 100 copies printed. If the booklet sells for P10 a copy how many copies must the publisher sell before making a profit? 6. A bus chartered for a tour at a cost of P24000. When 4 additional people join the tour, the fare per person is decreased by P200. How many people were originally going to charter the bus?
