why do the school bus stop in front of rail road tracks?
On my way to school a bus stop before the rail road tracks. why is that?

- This is because there is always the possibility that a train may be coming and the bus driver was not able to notice it. The same goes for why you must be silent at a railroad track. The bus driver may not have heard it.
- Acually , it is law in the united states that all school buses must stop at all RR tracts before crossing. Some bus drivers were not seeing a giant train coming at them and get hit by the train. So they made it a law that all school buses must stop before crossing.
- School buses stop at rail crossings for safety.
