My italian greyhound keeps crying and I don't know why?

My Italian Greyhound dog has been crying lately, and I have no idea why. He just turned six years old, and is a very happy, loving dog. We treat him well, but he recently began crying occasionally for no apparent reason. His feces are normal, and there are no obvious injuries on his body. He has always greeted us at the door, but now he has stopped. I love my dog so much and I want to see him better as soon as possible! Someone please help!

  1. she wants to race
  2. I'm concerned the dog is in pain for some reason. I have two iggies myself, and they really only vocalize like this when they are prevented from getting to their owner (such as when crated or behind a door) or when they are in pain. Common unseen issues are stomach problems and bruises from knocking into things. Given how chronic it seems for your dog, I worry about some kind of gastric problem. Even if his stool is normal, there can still be something going on. My younger dog had normal stool and then all of a sudden a mere 2 hours later, had a bloody one. We took him to the pet ER that night and they determined he had a relatively minor GI infection (don't remember the name). I highly recommend you get pet insurance btw. It's about $25 a month and covers almost everything that can go wrong.
  3. I own a Ex Racing myself and it has nothing to do with injuries, you don't walk him enough. I walk my guy 2 times a day in the morning and at 5pm for 20 minutes each time. The term ''crying'' is not that right. Most people would say he's singing. he sings for attention and so he can get a walk.
