What do I do during a 'transfer' while riding a Greyhound bus?
I'm taking my first trip. It's 13 hours long, and i've never traveled by bus. There are 2 transfers during my trip. I was wondering what do I do during the transer.. Some people say that I have to tell the bus driver when my schedule says to transfer, others said the transfers are simple and everyone gets off and boards the bus again at the same time. please help!

- Find a hooker, they love the bus station
- you have to pull the string right before the stop
- make sure you get into the right bus, or else you will be lost and will have to buy new tickets again to the location you are going. for those hours, try to take an mp3 with atleast 800 songs to last you for the time you will be riding the bus. or take a dvd player that are for travel. and you can watch movies and take spare batteries for it. just make sure never fall asleep on the bus, i for once experience falling a sleep on the bus, i ended up in texas instead of going to arkansas.
- Ask those questions to the agent at the station where you first get on, or of the driver of the first bus. This is not unusual at all, and they can tell you all about the process. Your ticket or itinerary may/should have information about the transfers: arrival and departure times and bus numbers. I haven't ridden a Greyhound bus for about 40 years, but my recollection is that you will get off at some station or stop. Others may or may not get off. MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR LUGGAGE if you have any. The original bus leaves for its continuing journey; you wait for the other bus you need to arrive, then get on it for the next leg. Repeat at the next transfer point. Good luck.
