  1. Greyhound definitely has buses that travel from NYC to Niagara Falls and Toronto. A few of my friends took the bus to Niagara a couple of years ago. I believe Amtrak also runs a train from NYC to Toronto.
  2. What part of Canada (from what part of New York)? Going to Toronto is much different than going to, say, Whitehorse. On the New York side, it's fairly easy to find transportation from most parts of the state, but going from NYC is generally a bit easier than going from some other places. That said, Amtrak and Greyhound are always good ways to start looking: http://www.amtrak.com http://www.greyhound.com
  3. In regards to bus service. Besides Greyhound, you can take the Megabus, which provides daily intercity bus service between Toronto and New York City for a low price. In regards to rail. Amtrak is the only one that provide intercity rail travel between New York City, Toronto and Montreal. Good luck Native New Yorker
  4. Amtrak does train service and is pretty good and gets you there safely.
  5. Where in NY you traveling from and where in Canada are you traveling too?
  6. Well, you can take an Amtrak train from NY Penn Station into Canada.
