Well I'm planning a trip from vancouver to miami and actually considered taking the greyhound. well now i know, it's a veeeery very long bus trip, but i seriously don't mind being in buses at all... i've done plenty of greyhound trips in canada that were around 20 hours and it was fine. most of the time i had two seats for myself, i didn't meet strange people or i stayed away from them. i mean, i experienced the usual trouble with buses being late and stuff...but nothing bad and i seriously don't think it was as terrible as everybody says... but the thing is, i heard there is a major difference between greyhound in canada and the us? and that the buses in the us are a thousand times worse than in canada?? is that true? any experiences? ... and what about the whole losing luggage thing? i've never heard of that before til i started googling it and now i'm freaking out, cause they seem to lose luggage all the time. okay, so i seriously can't afford the train, cause it would be 400 dollars more and same with flying. and i'm really not picky at all. like i said, i've done plenty of trips with greyhound before, they were all ok... i'm just starting to get really worried about my luggage and the system in the us in general... Please help! ... I need to make a decision asap...
