USA Bus Lines

How old do you legally have to be to ride a bus (i.e. Greyhound) by yourself in Canada?

I mean if you were traveling from Toronto, Ontario to Halifax, Nova Scotia, how old do i have to be to get on a bus by myself? If I'm not clear enough write it down below.

  1. For Greyhound buses, if you are 15 years or older, you can ride the bus without an adult present. A child as young as 8 years old can also ride the bus unaccompanied, but there are several conditions that have to be met, such as the child can't transfer to another bus, someone must meet you at the other end of the trip, not allowed to travel after 10pm, the trip must be five hours or less long (so Toronto to Halifax is out!), and you need a special form that must be signed by at least one parent or guardian. Take a look at the section about unsupervised children from their website below.
