Transport from New york to Washington DC by BUS?

Hi im writing from italy i would like to know if there some low cost agency that offers transport BY BUS from new york to washington DC? i also have read that there are chinese agencies in new york that offers this service at even lower cost thanks for the answer!

4. Nothing to add to Native New Yorker's answer. Yes, there are chinatown buses that are probably the cheapest. They're an adventure. I've done it. They may or may not be licensed and they don't necessarily maintain their buses. It's an experience and most of the time works out OK. 90% of the time it's been fine but I did get stranded for a hour on the NJ turnpike once, and I've heard stories. Most of the time when I'm looking for a cheap bus I go with Megabus, Boltbus, or Peter Pan. All have prices that are competitive with the chinatown buses, perhaps a couple of bucks more each way.
