Parking in Pike Place (Seattle)?

So my fiance and I are looking to go downtown in Seattle (we'd prefer to stay in or near Pike Place) but we have no idea where we are going haha we know how to get downtown and we know how to get to Pike Place but we aren't fond of Pike Place itself quite yet. We'd like to park for a little longer than 2 hours (and we will be doing a lot of shopping so a transit isn't really an option, plus we have no idea what the scheduled bus hours are so....) I know it cuts down on fuel but where would be a great place to park for longer than 2 hours where we can remember where we parked? Preferrably somewhere near or in Pike Place? thanks guys!

  1. Public Market Parking Garage - 1531 Western Avenue.
  2. There are seriously garages everywhere in that area. Just drive around the blocks and pick one :)
  3. Parking can be a little bit of a headache in Seattle. There are many parking choices near Pike Place Market other than 2 hr street parking - either Parking Lots or Parking garages (there is a little parking lot directly above Pike Place); however the rule is the closer the parking is to the downtown, the more expensive it gets. Just drive around your desired radius and look for parking garage signs. Check their pricing until you find one that matches your parking budget. If you write down the intersection where it is located, you will easily find it later during the day.
