I would like to know if there is express bus service from Katapadi to Chennai?

I have tried the train timings and after 3:30pm then the next train available is at 6:10pm. So I would like to check if there is any express bus service between 2:00pm and 6:00pm from Katpadi to Chennai?

1. Vellore and Katpadi are more like twin-cities about 10-15km apart and well connected through local transport (auto/mini taxi etc.). You have regular buses which ply from Vellore to Chennai throughout the day. Being on the NH4 which is used by services from Western Tamilnadu to Chennai, from places like Salem, Erode, Coimbatore, Dharmapuri, Hosur etc. there will be no shortage of buses. So, I suggest you reach the Vellore bus station from Katpadi to board the bus for Chennai.
2. Catch a rickshaw from Katpadi to Vellore. Lots of buses plying from Vellore to Chennai on NH4 http://blog.travelnride.com/
