USA Bus Lines

I have two questions regarding greyhound bus lines?

Do I have to have an ID on my baggage? Note that I only have one carry on bag. Do the people who buy seats get on the bus first?

2. okay i just got back from my trip from cali to georgia. Roundtrip. so i should know. You go to the station and they check your baggage weight and then give you a tag to tie on it. TIE IT WELL!!!! they will staple a little reciept to your ticket ! dont lose it! You might have to show it to get your baggage. Always watch out for your bag!. they say they will move it for you but dont risk it.! they lose bags all the time! You dont need anything for your carryon. Well i dont think so. iTs kind of first come first get on!. The only time other people get on first is when they were already on the bus but they were at lunch.
3. Yes so if it gets lost for whatever reason, you and/or your parents can be notified. And yes because they've paid, need to go to the ticket counter before you get on.
