Commuting options from Bridgewater, NJ to NYC?

Hi: I am trying to find out what would be the best and SHORTEST way to commute from Bridgewater, NJ to NYC. I checked out NJ Transit Train schedule from the near by station but it takes a lot of time to reach NYC. Can anyone please help me if you have tried or know any better option to commute to NYC in the shortest time. Any private Bus services would also work. I check Coach USA too but not sure if they provide that service from Bridgewater, NJ to NYC. Any Tips or Advice would be highly appreciated. PLEASE HELP!!

1. You should check out Trip123's transit trip planner (see link below) as it plans a trip from any origin address to a destination address in the NYC metro area with arrival and "leave" times. I put in for a trip from Russo's Pizza Shop, 713 E Main St, #B, Bridgewater, NJ 08807 (732) 469-0625 and the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City and got a Total Trip Time of 1 hour and 36 minutes using NJ Transit buses. This is not a bad commute for the New York metropolitan area – and Port Authority is kind of a “central” destination, of course your trip will differ. I just saw another question about a person commuting from Delaware to the City – that is a tough commute! To find your best route use the trip planner with any origin and destination address in the metropolitan area and by day and time that you want to travel. Good luck and safe travels!
