How do I find the schedule for NJ Transit going to Metropolitan?

I'm finding the schedule for the bus going to Metropolitan, but I don't know if there's an exact stop at Metro. It's okay if I have walk a little bit. I just need to find the stop nearest to Metro. But I don't know how to look up on the website for NJ Transit. Can anybody tell me how I can find it? I need to find all the times and stops. Oh sorry! I mean the city!! Near NYC but still in NJ. I mean, Metro, one of the campuses of FDU, in Teaneck.

  1. What's "Metropolitan"? Are you referring to the Metroplex Station in Iselin, NJ, on the Northeast Corridor? (That would be the NJ Transit line you'd need to look up.)
  2. NJ Transit bus route 178 passes by the campus on River Rd (it runs between Hackensack and the GW Bridge bus terminal). Other nearby routes: 168, 171, 175
  3. You should check out Trip123's transit trip planner (see link below) as it plans a trip from any origin address to a destination address in the NYC metro area with arrival and "leave" times. I put in for a trip from Baumgarts, 45 E Palisade Ave, Englewood, NJ 07631 (201) 569-6267 to FDU Metropolitan Campus (1000 River Road, Teaneck, NJ 07666) and got a Total Trip Time of 24 minutes using the #178 NJ Transit bus. I used to work in Englewood and Baumgarts was always excellent! To find your best route use the trip planner with any origin and destination address in the metropolitan area and by day and time that you want to travel. Good luck and safe travels!
