Are there NJ Transit buses that go to/stop by Teaneck or Jersey City from State Route 18? I found two routes that go to Jersey City, but I don't know how to read the schedule. Is it for rail or for bus? http://www.njtransit.com/pdf/bus/T1168.pdf

Public Comments

  1. That schedule is for two bus routes that run during weekday rush hours only (toward NYC or Weehawken in the morning, and back in the afternoon). If you are close to Mid-State Mall you could take NJ Transit bus route 815 to New Brunswick station and then the train to Newark Penn Station. From there take NJ Transit route 1 to Jersey City (other routes may be available depending where you want to go).
  2. You should check out Trip123's transit trip planner (see link below) as it plans a trip from any origin address to a destination address in the NYC metro area with arrival and "leave" times. When you put in a trip you also get a walking map that shows you how to get to that stop and if you need to do any walking at transfers between bus, rail, etc. To find your best route use the trip planner with any origin and destination address in the metropolitan area and by day and time that you want to travel to Teaneck or Jersey City. Good luck and safe travels!
