USA Bus Lines

How does Greyhound buses work? 10 points (canada, bc)?

Are there buses that travel ONE WAY without any transfers? If so how does it work? I am trying to go from UBC Okanagan to UBC Vancouver. I really don't know this, please help me. Also, how long is the trip?...back and forth?

  1. "Hi".....it's fairly easy actually. First of all you'd have to take public transit from U.B.C to Pacific Central Station ( is easy ) in the area of Main and 1st.Ave..( 1150 Station St) which acts as both a train station and a bus depot. You didn't say where you were going as in Penticton or Kelowna or Vernon but that doesn't matter as Greyhound departs for those destinations. There's usually a 20-25 min. stop stop in Merritt for coffee and a sandwich and "stretchies" ! *lol* Just buy a return ticket at the depot and there ya go. I'll give you their web site so you can call them for the applicable fare and the time involved which should be about 6 hrs. each way and you are on the same bus all the way ,both ways. Here's their site......with a phone number. http://www.greyhound.ca/home/en/location/AgencyInformation.aspx?city=731521 Glad to help and have a good trip ! *S* (Michael C...)
