School Bus Stops?

I was wondering if anyone knew of any kind of law that would help me out with the moving of a bus stop and putting children in danger of making them go to another bus stop?

1. It probably varies from state to state. I remember when I was in school that the stops had to be a quarter of a mile apart unless traffic was too dangerous. Contact your school's principal, and he/she can get the ball rolling with the dude in charge of bus routes for your district.
2. go in front of your school board and city council with your concerns and a signed petition of other parents IN your area to get the location changed or a officer to help out at this location
