Quickest way from East Rogers Park (Greenview at Greenleaf) by bus to DePaul University?

When I lived in Edgewater, it was easy to hop the 36 bus on Broadway to go downtown. I'm moving to East Rogers Park on Greenview Avenue and will be attending DePaul. I don't like the Howard or Morse train stops (the safety factor) and I don't like Devon Avenue for the 155 bus. Can I take the 22 down to Fullerton? What about the 147? The CTA schedule isn't that helpful

1. Are you close to Rogers Park Metra Station? Take North Line to Oglivie and take #129 to DePaul Downtown Campus. The trip takes 36 minutes. The question was very generic but the website will give you more specific itinenaries for more specific information.
