How come white people have the power to stop new bus routes from coming into their neighborhood?

There is this brand new bus route that they are trying to bring into a white neighborhood only during the rush hour AM and three trips for rush hour PM. its to help get people downtown. But the white people said they dont want any express buses in their neighborhood because buses cause polution WTF?? Why are white people like this?

Listen. Find out what the issues are. We have enough problems already without making an issue out of nothing. It is a racist comment, by definition, no matter who you are.
