economical way to travel from Chicago to New York?

hi, i want to travel to New york from chicago. Is there any bus service that goes that route or is there any train service between these 2 cities? i dont want to take a flight because it would be expensive

1. I just checked Jetblue's website and a direct flight would be $86 including taxes. I also checked Greyhound's site and there is one direct bus between Chicago and NY. It takes 17 hours and costs $95.
