Bus service - Temecula/Murrieta to Orange County, California?

Are there any privately run shuttle/commuter buses that run from Temecula or Murrieta to Orange County, California? I know I can take a bus to Riverside and transfer to an OCTA bus, but that is indirect and has too many stops which results in an almost three hour bus ride. Also, no service on weekends. Metrolink is out of the question. No direct service - trips would be over two hours each way.

  1. http://maps.google.com/ shows you can take a bus to Corona and then the Metrolink into Orange county. A bit over 2 hours, under $10 in fares. You take public transportation you take what is available, paying increasing costs for increasing convience/comfort. Public transportation is economical because of shared costs -- it works only when a lot of people want to travel the same route at the same time. Not a whole lot of people need public transportation RC-OC. You want convience, get your own wheels. I ride a motorcycle and that trip would cost me about $5 in gas and motorcycles park free most places. If you want quick and convenient I'm sure you could hire a limo for the trip, to take you as fast as possible and when you want.
  2. you dont say WHERE in orange county what CITY ? and RTA does have service to oceanside even on the weekend where you can connect to metrolink up to orange country or NCTD bus to San Clemete then OCTA to orange county but since you dont sahy WHAT city its hard to help you you aslo could take a RTA bus from Riverside to the city of orange one bus (line 149) which you wouldd have told us what CITY in orange county you want to go to !
