I need advice, First time taking a greyhound bus!?

I'm taking a greyhound bus in a couple days and I've never taken one before, I'm looking for anything from general advice to personal experiences. How much time should I arrive before the bus is scheduled to leave? I'm hoping I will be able to print my tickets at home so I won't have to stand in line, but do I still have to stand in line to get my luggage tags? And how much luggage are you allowed to bring? If I'm just bringing carry on do I still need luggage tags? Thank you so much to anyone that can answer just one these questions!!! :-D

1. arrive 15-30 minutes before the bus leaves. You don't need luggage tags just your ticket. Depending on the bus stop location will determine your wait time. So if you are in a big city, then I would print the tickets. I would suggest bring a small pillow, because the seats are uncomfortable as hell. I would also suggest bringing something to keep you entertained like a book. It's not really exciting. Once you experience it, you will never want to again. Also, make sure that during stops you focus on the time because the bus will leave you if you are not back in time.
