How do I read a bus schedule?

My car just blew up and I need to start riding the bus. How on earth do I read a bus schedule??

1. call the number on the schedule. tell them where you want to get on the bus and where you want to get off. they will tell you where to be and what time. and then the bus schedule might make more sense.
2. Generally speaking, you look for a place that has bus schedule info. It helps to know which bus and the number that you need to take. After you got that, you look at the route that the bus drives on, and try to figure out the closest place that the bus stops where you want to be. The bus takes that route all day, so they list the times that it SHOULD be there at specific stops or key intersections along the route. then you just time it out so that you catch the right bus at the right time.
