What's the point in having a tour bus?

A lot of singers, fly from place to place.. What's the point in having the tour bus if you're going to fly? How do they get the tour bus from place to place? Do they have a driver? Like Taylor Swift goes to state to state each day, so whats the point in having a tour bus?

1. Just think on how much money is spent they'll lose more money then they earn on tour. Some bands aren't mainstream artist that make millions of dollars of children and teens.
2. Not all bands can afford all the flying. Some find the flying unnecessary if cities are close together. Some bands don't fly at all for various reasons, usually fear of flying. The bus gives them more room to stretch, sleep, relax. They are set up like homes on wheels and are more comfortable than flights since most people don't have private planes.
3. part of the bands image, an extension of there persona, and a way to represent the bands ideals

5. I guess some people prefer road trips to flying, or they could have a phobia about it. It's also probably cheaper than flying and what with all of the airplanes going down these days, it's not exactly safe anymore. A tour bus is almost like taking your house with you everywhere. You can just lounge around and hire a driver.
