How can my family and me get to San Diego by bus?

My parents and I would like to visit San Diego. We live in Los Angeles, and are trying to find a way to get to San Diego by a tourist bus, or charter bus. What buses are available? Would it be faster to get there by car or bus? Thanks to everyone who answers! ;)

1. It's a lot faster and convenient to ride by train. You will enjoy a good scenery too along the way. Check were the train station near your place.
