What bus/train routes can i take to get to six flags from monrovia?

Me and my friend want to go to six flags next week but we dont drive. please help me find routes to take. i cant find any and if possible can you give me routes from monrovia, ca to universal studios too just in case we decide to go there instead and whats the earliest we can get on and what time should we come back before it closes? we will be on Myrtle Ave in monrovia if that helps thank you so much

1. take the 270 to el monte station you can leave at 6:30am arrives El monte station at 7:04am then then board a Metro rapid 770 bus departs el monte station at 7;30 arrives Union station at 8:21am to CESAR E CHAVEZ AV/VIGNES ST then walk into the Transit plaza then board Santa Clarita transit line 794 departs transit plaza at 9:00am take this bus to Mc bean parkway then transfer again to SCT 3 or 7 to the park for the return you have catch the 6:05pm SCT #3 take that bus to Mc bean transit center (arrives 6:22pm) \transfer to SCT 1 departs at 6:30pm take this bus to Newhall metrolink station arrives 6.57pm take Metrolink train departs newhall at 7:02pm arrives Union station at 7:50pm then you will board the metro gold line to its last stop at Sierra Madre Villa Gold Line Station then you board foothill transit line 187 to back to mylte and foothill (and your metrolink ticket is valid for all the buses/rail connections good luck!
