How often should bus stops/stations,train stations and metro stations be built?Is there a general rule on this?

eg-bus stops should be every-miles,train stations should be every -miles,metro/subway stations should be every-miles.Get my drift?

1. No there is no distance rule for this and it would not work. These things have to be placed to suit demand and in the case of bus stops to suit the road layout.
