USA Bus Lines

How do I take the bus from LAX to where I live in the San Fernando Valley?

I don't have a ride home so I have to take the bus from the airport. But I've never taken the bus in my whole life so I have no idea about certain things. Where do I buy the ticket? Can I just pay for it when I get on the bus? Will I be able to bring my suitcase aboard? I can find the bus schedule online but how do I know exactly where the bus comes? I live right near Van Nuys airport.

  1. There is a "Flyaway" bus service from LAX to Van Nuys. That might be the best way to go. You can take a local bus from Van Nuys to wherever you live. You can get bus routes at metro.net For the local bus, you pay as you get on. Yes, you can take your suitcase.
  2. where in the valley do you live? there is a flyaway express bus service to Van nuys or you can take local transit there and I can get you PRECISE directions but need an intersection or an address for that
  3. The easiest way is to take the shuttle. When you arrive and have your luggage, go outside to the Orange overhead sign. The Dispatchers are right there to help you. Super Shuttle and Primetime Shuttle. OR you can take the Flyaway to the Van Nuys Airport, but then you would have to take a cab to your home. Shuttles would work best because they will take you directly to your door.
  4. Here is some information on taking the Flyway bus - where to catch one, fares and freqency. http://www.socalthemeparks.com/socal-airports.php
