Is there a good bus service from Agra to Udaipur ?

I want to travel to Udaipur, and not getting a train reservation even in Tatkal. Do you know any good bus service from Agra to Udaipur? I am not able to find it on any bus travel websites (redbus, yatra, makemytrip, ticketvala etc).

1. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm I am afraid the bus connectivity between AGRA and JAIPUR itself is not very good. You have only the UPSRTC & RSRTC buses best being Pawan Gold and a limited number of Gold Lines respectively. But to Udaipur I am sure there none. Unfortunate as it may seem, two of the most popular tourist places dont have good connectivity. Well this aside..... Not sure when you wish to travel and which class, but you may try to check ex. Mathura Jn. to Udaipur City in Mewar Exp. Details below: 2963 H. Nizamuddin- Udaipur City Mewar Exp. Days of Run: Daily Mathura Jn a 21:03 d 21:05 [Day 1] Udaipur City a 07:00 [Day 2] As per my search some moments back RAC accomodation in 1AC and SL is available on 02.06.2009 before which all are WL across classes. Mathura Jn. is very well connected to Agra by trains and buses. The all-seating Taj Exp. can be a good connection for Mathura ex. Agra. Details below: 2279 Jhansi Jn.- H. Nizamuddin Taj Exp. Days of Run: Daily Agra Cant. Jn. a 18:47 d 18:55 Mathura Jn. a 19:50 d 19:55 If this too doesnt work out.... the best alternative acc. to me is to travel first to Jaipur and then from there to Udaipur. You have good number of buses run by RSRTC, Shrinath, Kalpana, Parshvanath etc. from Jaipur to Udaipur. Infact you will find many. As the bus connections between Agra and Jaipur during the day is pretty good... you could plan to leave Agra at 12:00 to arrive at Jaipur by 18:00 and board the bus for Udaipur from Sindhi Camp itself [Jaipur's bus station] by 19:00 ro delay further to 21:00 to reach Udaipur early next morning. This possibly is the best alternative.
2. Well there are few private operators who runs daily bus service from Agra to Udaipur. Most of such buses leave agra around 5-6 PM and reaches Udaipur early in morning. service is quite reliable and you will find good people traveling in those buses. Reservation is not possible via internet but once you landed in Agra go to "Idgah bus stand" you will find travel agents there with big boards stating Bus service for udaipur,jodhpur etc. I am not sure but i think there is one or two a/c bus also. So do talk to two three operators before doing the booking. the recommended travel agency are : Shrinath and rishubh. well there is one more option: Take rajasthan roadways delux or a/c bus to jaipur and from Jaipur you will get good service for Udaipur both private and govt. Still option one is recommended, just do the research first before booking the ticket. Have good tme
