What other bus companies exist other than Greyhound?

I want to go from the new york area to somewhere near mexico on a bus/buses. I only need a one way (from there i will be heading down to bolivia) and have heard Greyhound is losing its touch. What other companies provide cross country bus services? I have found that peterpan and bolt seem to only offer east coast travel. Thank you in advance

1. That's the only one that I know of that goes cross country. They've upgraded a lot of their buses on the east coast, though. Have you tried Amtrak, sometimes they have specials.
2. megabus offers a lot of routes on the east and west coasts and midwest. But greydog is still the only nationwideone.
